General information

Protecting your personal data is important to us. Personal data is any data that can be used to identify you personally. We only process it insofar as this is necessary to operate this website, answer your enquiries or fulfil legal obligations.

The legal bases are in particular Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent), (b) (contract and pre-contractual measures), (c) (legal obligation) and (f) (legitimate interest). Storing information on your device or accessing it takes place in accordance with § 25 TDDDG, i.e. only with your consent or where it is strictly technically necessary.

We only store personal data for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention periods. We do not sell your data, and we do not use automated decision-making or profiling.

For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser's address bar.

Hosting

This website is hosted by STRATO AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you visit our website, the resulting data is processed on STRATO's servers in Germany. Our email mailboxes are also hosted by STRATO.

This is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure, fast and reliable provision of our website and our communication. We have concluded a data processing agreement with STRATO in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

Server log files

When you access this website, the server automatically records information transmitted by your browser. This includes in particular your IP address, the date and time of access, the page accessed, the referrer URL, browser type and version and the operating system.

This data is technically necessary to display the website and to ensure its stability and security. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. This data is not combined with other data sources. The log files are deleted automatically after a short period unless they are needed to investigate a specific security incident.

Contact form and enquiries

If you contact us via the contact form, the project configurator, by email or by phone, we process the information you provide. For the form, this is your name, email address, optionally your company, the selected request type, your message and, if you use the configurator, your selected answers.

We use this data exclusively to process your enquiry and to get in touch with you. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Your message is sent to us by email via STRATO's servers, and you automatically receive a confirmation of receipt at the address you provided.

To protect against spam, the form uses an invisible check field. No data is passed on to third parties in the process. Your details remain with us until the purpose no longer applies, you request deletion or you withdraw your consent. Statutory retention periods, for example for business letters and invoices, remain unaffected.

Cookies and consent

To manage your cookie consent, we use our self-hosted plugin “ND Cookie”. It runs entirely on our server without any external services. On your first visit you can decide which categories you allow. Technically necessary cookies are always active, for example nd_cookie_consent (stores your choice, 6 months) and nd_ccid (a random identifier to document your consent).

To document your decision, we log the date and time, your choice, the banner version, the random consent ID and an encrypted hash value of your browser identifier. Your IP address is not stored. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 7 (1) GDPR. We only load optional content, such as external media, with your consent in accordance with § 25 (1) TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time:

Visitor statistics

To understand how our website is used, we use the “Mini Analytics” plugin. The analysis takes place exclusively on our own server. It records the page accessed, the date and time, the referring page where applicable, the device type, the browser category and the language setting.

IP addresses are not stored, no cookies are set and no data is passed on to third parties. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in analysing our reach and improving our services. The raw data is kept for a maximum of 12 months.

Embedded services and content

Fonts: The Poppins font is stored locally on our server. No connection to Google or other providers is established when you access the website.

Language versions: The English version of this website is delivered directly from our server using the TranslatePress plugin. No data is transferred to external translation services.

Instagram: On our homepage we show recent posts from our Instagram profile using the “Instagram Feed” plugin by Smash Balloon. Our server retrieves the posts via Instagram's interface and the images are stored locally on our server. Therefore no data is transmitted to Instagram when you view the page. You are only redirected to Instagram when you click on a post or the link to our profile. The privacy policy of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited applies there.

Google reviews: On our homepage we show reviews from our Google Business Profile using a widget from Trustindex Kft. (Hungary). The reviews are only loaded when you click “Show reviews” or allow external media in the cookie banner. Scripts, fonts and profile pictures are then loaded from servers of Trustindex Kft. and Google Ireland Limited, which means your IP address is transmitted to these providers. A transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out. The legal basis is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG. You can withdraw it at any time via the cookie settings.

Apart from that, we do not currently embed videos or maps from third parties. Should we use such content in the future, it will only load after you have given your consent via the cookie banner.

Your rights

You have the right at any time to access the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You can also object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21) and withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3)).

For any request, simply send a short message to info@netzdevs.de.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW), Kavalleriestraße 2-4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.
